We are a small, but growing business of about 25 employees and have a recent opening to fill our Marketing Specialist role.
The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing, self-starter, and will be able to adapt to changing responsibilities over time as the needs of the business change.
Responsibilities Advertising:
o Buying, reviewing, and creating advertisements in order to reach the company's target audience in the most cost-effective way.
o Manage the company's marketing budget which is split between advertisements, trade shows, and promotional marketing material o Track the performance of the advertisements and suggest changes or new advertisements.
Social Media & Website:
o Responsible for all social media accounts, currently Facebook and Instagram.
This job includes tasks like creating new content, managing social media ads, responding to questions from customers, etc.
o Updating the company's website as needed Trade Shows o Responsible to sign up and organize booth for approximately a dozen trade shows, most local, some out of state.
o Support sales representatives at the shows as needed.
o Register and set up for seminars Event Planning o Plan and organize trade shows, open houses, and seminars that SES is involved with.
This includes:
making itineraries, reserving hotels, and coordinating menus for open houses.
o Advertise for all SES events via print and digital ads.
Ideal Candidate Requirements A background in marketing through work experience or education.
Graphic design experience preferred Experience buying and reviewing advertisements Experience managing a company or organization's social media accounts Sales or marketing experience with managing and attending trade shows Experience planning events for small companies or organizations Excellent reading and writing skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office The ability to be flexible with changing job responsibilities This position's starting pay range will be $17 to $23 per hour or salary equivalent based on the candidate's experience.
Benefits include performance-based pay raises and bonusses, health insurance, a simple IRA, paid time off and paid vacation.
This position will be full time with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Occasional work on weekends, evenings, and some travel will be required.
